Study!

If this is your first visit, welcome! If you are returning, you’ll notice some changes. There are more coming!

I owe an apology to my diligent and seeking readers. I’ve been away studying. Sometimes we need to takea step back to renew our minds and redirect our paths. We tend to make plans and stick to it without deviation forgetting that our plans need to stay in line with God’s.

Ephesians 4:23-25 (KJV) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)

I got a a taste of what God had in store for me and realized that I had to renew my mind and adjust my plans. I had to study more to show myself approved.

So, I had to put down what I was doing and educate myself. I had to spend some quality time with God. It was difficult as I set in motion what God had told me I should do. I was a little embarrassed as I had begun marketing and everything needed to be shut down. I needed to trust God had my back. My life is in His hands.

God gave me the green light to start moving forward again. Philippians 4:12 (KJV) I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Sometimes we need to abase in order to abound. We can never keep rising without a fall. Life goes up and down. Our spirituality is the same. When we rise spiritually, we also need to fall. We usuallly hear that kind of statement in a negative light but it can be a positive thing. Sometimes we have a goal so large that in our current state we could never push forward until we take a step back. It’s necessary at times to take a step back, assess and then proceed forward. That until you take that step back you won’t be able to see your next step forward or even course correct if you go to the left a bit. We learn the most when we step back. If you’ve even been in a rising position, you know how difficult it is to tear away from the rise to see where to go next.

I’ve been away longer than I would have liked but it was for my benefit and yours. I’ve gained new revelation. Fresh anointing that I can share with others and they can share with others still. Continue to enjoy the site and be blessed. Feel free to subscribe, comment and share your thoughts. ~ Selah
