When we go to church, we’re told to live in expectation. Live in anticipation of God’s promises. Praise God in the valley because He’s coming to deliver us from our hardships. Ephesians 3:20 says: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. (KJV)

So, live as if you’ve already gotten what He’s promised. Praise as if He’s still speaking His promises to you. Live like you’re getting your blessing in the next second. Rejoice and be glad at all times because for ill or good all things that happen will make you grow and be better. Count it all joy. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 KJV)

Every day you wake up is a gift. Another chance to right a wrong. Another day to tell God how much you love and appreciate Him. Another day to live out the promises you’ve already received and to prepare for the ones to come. Another day to help someone else live their promises. Another chance to be more like Christ. ~ Selah
