Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

When we think of Thanksgiving, we think of family, love, and food. However, I have begun to think of every day like Thanksgiving because I have begun to realize the blessings that the Lord has given me and my family and the plans that He has made for my life. I am not just thankful but grateful.

Think of all the times that it could have been you homeless, without food, without shelter, without money. How many of those times have you made it through and you don’t know how? That is your Thanksgiving. That is when you should celebrate. I have to work a few hours on this Thanksgiving and I started to complain but I stopped myself because I  have a job to go to. Some people don’t. It is hard work preparing a large meal but I’m thankful for my health that I am able to cook it. I am thankful that I have family and friends to share the day with. Some people don’t.  So, this Thanksgiving, I am celebrating all the little Thanksgivings that I have been having all year. Join me in entering His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Join me in blessing His name because God has been good to us. He has been faithful and unchanging in His wisdom, love, grace, and mercy. ~ Selah
